What we do with the diagnosis

Rethink Science
is the home of
Organizational
Psychogenetics

Rethink Science is a diagnostic and strategy practice for organizations that sense something deeper is shaping the way they lead, decide, grow, and relate.

We are the home of Organizational Psychogenetics, a framework for understanding how an organization’s founding psychology becomes encoded into its culture, inherited by its people, and expressed through its systems, leadership patterns, and growth behavior. We believe every organization is more than what it does. It is also who it is.

Who We Are

Rethink Science sits at the intersection of clinical insight, organizational strategy, leadership development, and systems design.

We work with founders, leaders, and teams who are not looking for surface-level fixes. They are looking to understand the hidden patterns beneath recurring issues: misalignment, burnout, decision paralysis, founder dependency, unclear roles, cultural tension, and growth that feels harder than it should.

Our work begins with one belief

You cannot change what you have not diagnosed

What we do

We help organizations see the psychological operating system beneath their visible structure

Through Organizational Psychogenetics and the Human Systems Scorecard, we examine how founding conditions, leadership patterns, relational habits, and cultural defenses shape the organization’s current reality.

We help leaders identify

❖ What has been encoded into the organization

❖ What patterns are being inherited by the team

❖ What symptoms are being repeated across roles,
departments, or growth stages

❖ What needs to be named, redesigned, or released

❖ What kind of system the organization must become next

Why We Do It

Most organizations are treated as machines. We see them as psychological systems.

A company can have strong strategy and still repeat the same conflict. It can have talent and still struggle with trust. It can grow quickly and still carry the emotional logic of its earliest survival stage.

We do this work because leaders deserve more than generic advice. Teams deserve environments that do not ask them to inherit unresolved patterns. And organizations deserve to understand what they were born carrying, so they can decide what they no longer need to repeat.

Meet the Leadership Team

Rayne Dhana MD, MBA

Yale-trained psychiatrist | Business strategist | Founder & Clinical Lead, Rethink Science

Rayne is a Yale-trained psychiatrist with a decade of experience leading organizations, raising capital, and studying the psychological patterns that either drive or derail founder-led companies.

Her clinical training is in systems psychodynamics, the field that applies psychoanalytic and group relations theory to organizational life. What that means in practice: she understands why authority structures break down in predictable patterns. She understands what happens to a team when its leader cannot tolerate uncertainty. She understands why a founding narrative becomes rigid when it is carrying too much of the founder’s identity.

She built Rethink Science because she kept encountering the same situation: talented founders, real organizations, recurring problems that conventional consultants had been unable to fix, because they were diagnosing at the wrong level.

Zoe Raluca

Chief Experience Officer

Zoe is a multidisciplinary design strategist whose work spans brand identity, UX, advertising, and experiential design. Her core conviction is that design is not an aesthetic layer applied to a business, it is the architecture of how people experience it.

From the moment someone encounters a brand to the final point of action, every touchpoint is communicating something. The question is whether what it communicates is intentional.

At Rethink Science, Zoe translates the internal clarity produced by our consulting work into external brand presence: visual systems, user pathways, and brand ecosystems that are coherent because the organization behind them is coherent.
